National Contact Points

The vision of the ALCUE NET project is to create an effective, dynamic, proactive and sustainable network to encourage a closer cooperation between all National Contact Points in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The general goal is to promote and increase the participation of academia, companies and institutions in the H2020 program, in order to democratize the access opportunities  between the different countries of the region.

In order to reach these objectives, ALCUE NET engages in improving the communication among NCPs, train them on Horizon 2020 opportunities for LAC countries, consulting of LAC countries with no NCP structures and creating a NCP online platform.

What are National Contact Points and what is a NCP Network?

The NCP are professionals responsible for offering advice and information to all interested in participating in Horizon 2020 research and innovation programmes.

NCPs play a crucial role in the Horizon 2020 Program as providers of information and assistance to potential participants (applicants) for new projects and beneficiaries in on-going projects. They are appointed for each of the thematic areas of the H2020 Program as well as for cross-cutting areas of Legal and FInancial Aspects, SMEs, Marie Sklodowska-Curie, etc.

The NCP Network is formed by all NCPs officially appointed by a State through the main relevant institution involved in Science, Technology and innovation and recognized by the European Commission by official appointment.
