ALCUE NET participated at the ICT 2013 - Create, Connect, Grow, in Vilnius on 6-8 November, 2013

ALCUE NET, through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovationin Argentina participated in the ICT 2013 that the European Commission organized from 6 to 8 November in Vilnius, Lithuania.

ALCUE NET Gateway: fostering ICT cooperation between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

ALCUE NET project  through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation actively participated in the ICT 2013 that the European Commission organized from  6 to 8 November in Vilnius, Lithuania. More than 5000 people attended the event and more than 40 were from Latin America and the Caribbean.
In the international area of the exhibition, the ALCUE NET project and the Liaison Offices in Latin America had a stand to promote regional capabilities and scientific and technological potential as a strategic partner in the next calls in the framework of Horizon 2020. The stand was labeled "EU -LAC Gateway on ICT cooperation: ALCUE NET and Latin American Liaison Offices".
As regards networking sessions, the project LEADERSHIP with ALCUE NET presented on November 7th the "Enhancing policy Dialogue with Emerging Economies and developing countries for ICT cooperation" included in the module "International Cooperation: Emerging economies". Rosa Wachenchauzer and Yolanda Ursa were in charge of the presentation.
There were also opportunities to find partners Face2Face Meetings on November 7th and 8th. Ideal-Ist , the network of National Contact Points for ICT research, in cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network organized a brokerage event with pre -arranged face2face meetings within the ICT 2013 event. 

The ALCUE NET Gateway was the one-stop shop for international cooperation between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean (EU-LAC) in ICT. It was an information stand about EU-LAC activities in research, development and innovation (R&D&I), supported by ALCUE NET project and the four Liaison Offices located in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico.
